Very good condition. The sheet slightly cockled from the Chine Applique. A pale fox mark in the lower upper left corner.
Signed in pencil by the artist 'Baselitz' at the lower right margin. It is also dated '72' [1972] next to the signature. It is also hand numbered from the edition of 52, at the lower left corner. There were also 15 artist's proofs.
It was published in a portfolio of seven drypoints. This work was printed and published Editionen der Galerie Heiner Friedrich, Munich. The paper bears the Rives watermark in the lower left margin.
