This Ansonia mantle clock has Rococo sash. The eight-day time and strike movement chimes on the quarter-hour and hour. The creamy porcelain case, with gold highlights, is in very good condition.
The porcelain is handpainted featuring three small cameos. The upper two are cherubs and the lower one shows children playing.
Since their inception in 1850, the Ansonia Clock Co. has consistently produced some of the finest and aesthetically pleasing American Clocks.
