This tinted pen and ink sketch became the property of the family in Massachusetts. Member of the family wrote a book about sketches and career of John C. Schetky. Many newspaper clippings, the sketch, and the book were sent to the present owner. It was the expressed desire of the artist's daughter Ludamilla, that after her death on April 1930, these items be given to the family. Memorabilia of John C Schetky was stored at their home, upon this request.
